Carpal tunnel has made doing virtually anything I love excruciatingly painful. Holding a pencil. Playing the piano. Typing on a keyboard. Going grocery shopping left me in tears as my wrists were feeling so inflamed from the effort of putting the items on the belt, not to mention carrying the bags into the house afterward. It's been hard physically and mentally. I needed to do something for the sake of my sanity. I decided to be okay with doing a minute amount at a time and letting a piece take a while to complete. I wasn't exactly good about stopping when I should have, and I paid for it, but it did feel good to do something. I chose to make a woodburning of one of my favorite quotes, which is attributed to Christine Caine. As usual, I used my woodburning pen from Walnut Hollow. The color is done with oil pencils also purchased from Walnut Hollow.
